Losses pile up...

Two years after colonists settle on Mars, not a single pregnancy has made it to term. Loss piles upon loss, and when yet another ends without explanation, the underlying cause must be found. As leader of the Martian Reproductive Council, Theresa and her team of experts will determine the future of Mars. Martian colonists have had eleven years to settle in to their new home and come into their own as a thriving, colony, but on Earth ecosystems have grown unstable and a new threat to human survival is brewing. When a reckless foray into the outskirts of the city lands one of Theresa’s progeny in quarantine, Richard must take advantage of the advance warning and find a way to fight the growing pandemic. With the rapid decline of everyone infected and communication with Mars forbidden, reaching Theresa and getting the Progeny to Mars alive may be impossible. Not only does The future of Earth, and the AUC Progeny hang in the balance—but the continuation of the human race.
