David is one of my favorite people in these novels, and we got to see his past revealed, and he reached some very significant character developments. "I absolutely can't overstate how intense and deeply engaging this book was! After getting adapted to Fors' Mars colony and its inhabitants over the course of both Progeny and Adaptation I was ready to engage with everything as I'd known it so far, nothing was as I expected it to be! 

Set several years after the events of Adaptation and the successful establishment of both colony and plant and wildlife despite the struggles of both books one and two, this book was quite the surprise, and the latter half of the book was extremely white knuckle with tension. Reunion's main conflict left no one's fate certain until the very end.
